Bodshamlocal MP Mr Sojan Joseph visit
On Monday 15th December, our local MP Mr Sojan Joseph visited our school. Mr Jospeh had asked schools in the Ashford Constituency to take part in a Christmas Card Competition, to create a Christmas image that he would then use on his Christmas cards to schools, hospitals and local businesses. Our very own Clemmie came third in the competition and her image appeared on the back of the Christmas cards.Mr Joseph presented gifts of cuddly toys, vouchers and a letter of thanks to Clemmie, and two other runners up.
We hope that Mr Joseph will return next year to speak with our Year 5 and 6 children about his role and the importance of our British Democracy.
