SumMer Fair 2026

We can't wait for our biggest and best fundraiser of the year!

Bodsham Primary School is preparing for its much loved annual Summer Fair, taking place on Saturday 27 June, bringing together families, friends and the wider community for a day of fun, entertainment and fundraising.

The event has become a highlight of the school calendar, creating a lively festival atmosphere with games, competitions, live entertainment and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the school’s welcoming community spirit. Funds raised on the day will go directly towards supporting the school and its pupils.

Visitors can look forward to a packed programme of activities including a popular cake competition judged by the local WI, with categories for under 12s and over 12s and prizes to be won. The school is also planning a range of stalls, children’s activities, a bouncing castle, ice cream stand and tombola.

One of the fair’s most popular attractions is always the food tent, known for its selection of homemade dishes prepared and donated by families and supporters. Organisers are currently welcoming offers of food donations as well as support from local musicians and performers who may be interested in playing during the event.

As a small village school, community support plays a vital role in making the fair possible each year. Organisers are encouraging local residents and businesses to get involved by donating raffle prizes, lending gazebos for stall holders, volunteering to help run activities or helping to spread the word about the event.

The school will also be holding a series of dress down days throughout the coming term to collect donations for the fair.

Anyone interested in supporting the event, donating prizes or volunteering their time is encouraged to contact the school.
