Sports Day 2024!

Sports Day on Monday 10th June was a real family affair with our whole community coming together for a (rather chilly) family picnic before starting our sports afternoon.  Each team took part in a parade to their chosen music before Miss Hughes, our wonderful Sports Lead, began a warm-up for the whole school ready for the team activities.  Each team then enjoyed 8 activities including cricket super smash, javelin, move the hoop and push the pig!  After a drink and rest break, teams went back to their class groups to take part in the running races and relay.  Children showed fantastic team work and sporting values throughout the afternoon, demonstrating resilience, encouraging others, and cheering the winners.  We are very proud of them all!
