2026 Mini Marathon
Pupils from Bodsham Primary School travelled to London on Saturday 25 April to take part in the TCS Mini London Marathon, once again enjoying one of the school community’s favourite annual events.
A determined team of runners completed either the 2.6km or one mile course, setting off from Horse Guards Parade before running past Buckingham Palace and crossing the famous finish line in central London. Many personal bests were achieved on the day, including by some of the accompanying parents who also took part.
The event began with an energetic warm up led by fitness coach Joe Wicks alongside Gladiators stars Nitro and Fury, helping to build excitement before the races got underway.
Bodsham pupils were praised for their excellent behaviour and team spirit throughout the day, with proud smiles all round as runners received their medals at the finish line.
The school community has also shown tremendous support through sponsorship donations, with fundraising now exceeding £2,500 for the school’s outdoor classroom fund. The fundraising page remains open for anyone wishing to congratulate the runners and support the project further.
Special thanks go to Ali, who organised the event from start to finish. The trip would not have been possible without her hard work and dedication.
