GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY – 18TH MARCH 2025
Dear Parents,
To celebrate Global Recycling day, we would like to remind you that we are representatives for Terracycle. We can recycle some objects that you can’t put in your household recycling bins.
We can take:
- Any Pringles cans
- Any cheese packaging
- All bread wrappers
- Wrappers from sweet and savoury biscuits and cake bars
Simply bring these items to Bodsham School and place them in the boxes outside our classroom. We will send the items off to be recycled. Your waste can be turned into new items, such as outdoor furniture, and soft play coverings. This will prevent these items from ending up in landfill, or worse, our rivers and oceans.
Help us to be a better friend to our community, as we try to be God’s caretakers on Earth.
Kind Regards
The Woodpeckers Class

Visit to the Roman Museum
As part of their History topic, the Woodpeckers had a great day at the Canterbury Roman Museum!
Fort Burgoyne Trip in May
The Woodpeckers had a great day out at Fort Burgoyne, Dover. They took part in bug hunts and practised their classifying skills! In the afternoon, the children collaborated in trust games, culminating in a treasure hunt. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed taking our learning outside of the classroom!
