STARTING SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER 2026

Thank you for considering Bodsham Church of England Primary School for your child.  You are making an important decision and we wish to do all we can to support you in this process.

We hold tours for prospective parents throughout the Autumn and there are Open Days in October and November. Please visit our Starting School page for details. If you have any questions before then, please email the school office at admin@bodsham.kent.sch.uk 

You can apply for a Reception place to start at our school in September 2026 via the KCC website www.kent.gov.uk/ola between November 2025 and January 2026

All other year groups can apply at any time using an In Year Application Form available from the school office.

 

Timetable for parental appeals

If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2026, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (April 2026). You needed to submit your appeal before 18th May 2026 for it to be considered by July. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
