The school was inspected by Ofsted in July 2008 and evaluated as an outstanding school that has the enthusiastic support of the local community. This grade was reviewed and confirmed in 2011.  Currently, schools rated as outstanding are reviewed on a yearly basis. As such, Bodsham has not required an additional Ofsted inspection since 2008.

The school was inspected under SIAMs – The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools – In June 2018. The school was judged to remain outstanding in every area!
