| Reason for absence must be notified to the school by telephone call. If an absence is likely to extend beyond three days, please make this clear. Unexplained absences are referred to the Educational Welfare Officer. In the interests of their safety, children will not be released during school hours for appointments, etc, unless parents have contacted the school in advance and come to the office to collect them. Children with hospital, doctor, dental appointments etc. will need a Pupil Pass which can be obtained from the office. The latest statistical evidence shows that the overall rate of attendance is 95.1%. | |||
